  My mom is a patient of Dr. Morris. Her care was transferred to Dr. Morris when her primary doc retired from his practice. Dr. Morris listens very carefully to the patient, even if the patient is an elderly woman which has not been our experience very often with other doctors. Her previous doctor was very nice, joked with my mom, even feigned flirting, but he did not take her seriously, or follow up on her complaints. After Mom’s first appointment Dr. Morris ordered several tests that had not been previously considered. Right away the tests indicated that my mother had vitamin deficiencies directly related to symptoms she had been complaining of to her other doctor for years, and which resolved after being put on the proper medication. Dr. Morris is not flashy, does not wear a power suit, or use unnecessary medical jargon to make herself feel superior to her patients. She offers kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable care which has been very refreshing to us. Her staff is also kind and caring. Usually her nurse returns calls promptly, but I think that a message system that allowed patients calling in to prioritize the reason for the call would be helpful. If there was a way to communicate a message that is urgent, but not life threatening in a case when the nurse was very busy and not able to return calls, or listen to patient messages, it would be helpful to be able to get a message through that it is not a simple issue that can wait very long. I would rate the service 4.7 stars
