- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Before I ever got blood work done on my first visit Dr Sidman said I would need to be on medicine for high cholesterol. I told her that medicine gave me migraines and she dismissed me by saying she had never heard of that happening. When I cam back for my follow up and she wanted to put me on meds for high cholesterol. I voiced my concerns over statins health risks and wanting to try a more natural approach.She said with the natural things it was just marketing Funny because a pharmacutical representative was in her office that day as I waited for the doctor. I am not from Gainesville, Florida or the south so i was surprised how behind Dr Sidman is in her knowledge of health issues.and not use to a doctor dismissing me and my knowledge of healthy alternatives nor am I use to a doctor dismissing me for not going with pharmacuticals.None of my other concerns were addressed. It is so disheartening to go to a health care provider and come away feeling if i don't take medication I am not cared about.November 30, 2016by Maureen W.
